Please note that this is a selective admission program with competitive admission requirements. Being accepted to Garrett College does not guarantee acceptance into the Radiologic Technology program. Along with other eligibility requirements, students must be able to pass a criminal background check and be 18 years of age prior to the first day of fall term. Career Opportunities
Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (www.ARRT.org) certification examination, paving the way for licensure in any state and enhancing your job prospects.
As a radiologic technologist, your career options are diverse. You could work in hospitals, clinics, private practices, public health facilities, education, and more.
Interested in further specialization? Graduates also have the option to transfer on and continue their studies in areas such as computed tomography, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, mammography, cardiac catheterization, and more.
